Clan History:
The history of the Takahashi Clan is not as substantial as most other clans around Kusagakure. This did not actually originate in Kusagakure, but in an unknown area of the Fire Country near the boarder. It is said that their doujutsu is a genetic mutation of that of the Byakugan, and this idea is very plausible as many of the foundation of their simple abilities are similar to that of the Byakugan. But the Juugan is a completely separate entity in its own right, and the doujutsu has made the clan quite infamous throughout the world. It is not everyday that a doujutsu bloodline comes about. The clan started to see a lot activity from foreigners from other lands. Many tried to kidnap member and take them back to their own villages and town, and many bounty hunters sought the clan members for their own monetary gain as they fetched a high price on the black market. Thus, Kusagakure their closest formative neighbor reacted and offered them a civilized shelter and protection in exchange for their unique abilities and intergration within the village. The Takahashi Clan leader accepted.
Thus, for the last 15 odd years the Takahashi Clan has resided in Kusagakure and their abilities have been greatly harnessed and benefited within the village. They have become a sort of 'super-power' within the village as their clan slowly rose the ranks of supremacy within the village. During war time their abilities had saved the lives of many of the Kusagakure shinobi and civilians and this has warranted them great respect around the village. The doujutsu itself in the beginning has erratic growth and maturity but within the last decade this has averaged out. The Juugan Eye seems to mature around the age of 10 to 12, just before a clan member begins puberty. The release of the eye can happen at any moment, with not due cause. This offers them the traditional Life-Force Connection and universal traits. But to gain the Pain Connection the clan member must go through an incredibly traumatic experience in their life, feeling 'true pain'. This part of the doujutsu is incredibly rare, but during wartime their was a spike in the unlocking of this ability, thus, allowing for more knowledge on it. The Takahashi is a strong, peaceful and mature clan that is naturally inclined to help and heal others.

Dracule Chakra:
"Dracule Chakra" is a herediatry chakra type which is unique to the Takahashi Clan. The special properties of this chakra can only be withdrawn when the user has released their Juugan, Living Eye. The chakra is said to have an uneven balance of yin/yang chakra with higher yin levels than yang. A way to describe the ability of this chakra is that is has a sort anesthetic quality to it. When coming into contact with a living target the user is able to not only completely nullify the pain felt by the target but also withdraw it from their body and store it in their own chakra. This relieves any and all pain in a target (not heal) whether it be physical, mental etc all that is required is physical touch. Once complete that section of the users chakra will instead of being a blue colour will turn into red. Depending on the levels of 'pain' withdrawn from the target the deeper the red colour will become, allowing for a primitive judgement of pain levels. However, the more 'pain' the user takes on the more pain they themselves feel, thus, it needs to be departed with quickly.
Doujutsu Appearance:
When deactivated the of the user looks as normal as could be, their iris is a simple black colour. But when the eye activated and the doujutsu is released the user’s eye dramatically changes. From the corners of the eye three black semi-circles in a triangular fashion face inwards towards the middle. The rest of the eye is left completely white, but on the outside of the eye (just where the eye would meet the eyelid) there is a thin black line fully encompasses the eye connected the three semi-circle shapes.

JUUGAN - LIVING EYE
When the Juugan (Living Eye) is active the user gains an assortment of unique abilities which revolve around a unique connection with their own, and a targets body which accurately gives this bloodline its fearsome reputation. Much like the sharingan the Juugan can be active for long, extended periods of time as it consumes a very miniscule amount of chakra. The user gains some common attributes that are associated with doujutsu abilities especially that of the Byakugan which it is said to be a mutation of (but to a lesser extent) listed below;
•Extended line of sight in a linear (180 degree) fashion. Can fundamentally utilize their peripheral sight to the maximum extent.
•Have access to penetrating sight within their vision range (fundamental to Life-Force Connection ability). This allows the user to see through such things as trees, walls, the human body etc.
But the most unique aspects of this doujutsu which will be explained below are why it has the name “Living Eye". This eye is a unique doujutsu in the fact that it focuses only on the internal aspect of a human compared to the relative exterior or other doujutsu abilties that stretch far beyond. The key for this doujutsu is its ability to form a special connection to a deep level within a target through even flesh and bone. This eye has an amazing ability to see the unimaginable, allowing the user to grasp a completely different aspect on life giving them a glimpse into the unknown of a human. Firstly, the user can see (sense) the life-force of a target. Combined with this skill the user can also see the level of pain a target is feeling within their body.
LIFE-FORCE CONNECTION
This is the first aspect of the Juugan. Users can firstly see the physical life form inside a targets body allowing them an in-depth penetrating sight. This makes the Juugan different from other doujutsu as it’s more affective at a short range being focused on close-quarter sight, allowing them a complete view of a targets internal system. But in an instance where a user is checking the status of a target being alive or dead, relating to a byakugan user, most may think the target is deceased where as Juugan users would be able to look deeper than the simple chakra flow or heart rate, to the actual life-force of the target to get the most accurate reading. They are able to connect with the target on a deeper or even spiritual level able to see the core of the target.
By looking at their life-force, the raw part of the human, the user can gain many useful insights into the target. As stated above a Juugan user will have a more accurate indication of the status of a target (whether they are alive or dead). Juugan being connected to the targets life-force also allows them to see a general overview or indication of the chakra capacity of the target to a level similar to that of a chakra sensory-type ninja. Juugan users do not have the accuracy that the byakugan has with distinguishing individual tenketsu points on a target, but they have a similar analysis of the chakra flow of a target.
Talented users access this ability of Life-Force Connection for the means of tracking an individual Life-Force over certain ranges (within the eyes range). Juugan is a close-quarter doujutsu, thus, works best at close-range. This allows the user to also follow and track close-range movements of the target, allowing for some level of anticipation in their in their physical maneuvering. But if the user has come into contact with the target (physically touching them) then their connection with the targets Life-Force is much greater, allowing for longer range for tracking them but does not effect the movement tracking (can extent to 250m). This is part of the 'Soul Connection' ability which is explained in the next paragraph.
But arguably the most interesting part of the Juugan’s Life-Force Connection is through physical touch with an opponent they can gain what is known as a 'Soul Connection'. This ability allows the user to get a grasp of the person at the core able to gather a flash of memories upto the last week or so of the targets life also they gain an IC view of the OOC characters personality written on their character application. But while the user is flooded with this mental force, they become incredibly overwhelmed and disorientated this leads to, for a single post while they gather the information their senses are completely shut off from the outside world making them incredibly vulnerable.
PAIN CONNECTION
This is the second aspect of the Juugan but by no means inferior. All Takahashi Clan members are born with the Life-Force connection ability when they are born and access their doujutsu ability (which usually matures and can be released after the Academy, see history). But to access the pain connection ability a clan member must have experienced true pain. This can come in many forms, really coming down to the user’s individual life-force, personality and what they value in life. But this is something that cannot be manipulated or controlled. This aspect is usually released through a traumatic death to a close friend or family member, being in a near death situation etc. This can only be achieved in-RP, and no one is allowed to start with this in their character history. In certain, awful circumstances, if a user is subject to true pain early they can even unlock this stage before harnessing Life-Force Connection.
It has to be a moment where either the user’s body or mind experiences the limit that the person can experience pain before it drives them over the edge, or killing them. Interestingly, when this is activated the pain receptors located throughout the body of the user (skin, muscles, joints, connective tissues, and internal organs) are deactivated. This means that they do not release neurotransmitters that send information about the painful stimulus along nerves to the brain. This makes the user immune to pain for that moment and this is the indication that they have released Pain Connection. This immunity of pain will last up to 24 hours and can take some adapting to, but after this process this ability will never happen again. Now, Pain Connection is available to the Juugan Eye. When released, pain connection allows the user to see and sense both the physical and mental pain (stress) a living organism (human, animal etc) is feeling. When this ability is activated the area around the target and within the users sight becomes darkened and covered with hue of a grey aura. This can be activated and deactivated at the will of the user while their Juugan is active. For the user to read the level of pain the target is in the eye classes the pain in colours below;
•GREEN – When a green aura is shown around the target it signifies that they are feeling a low amount of pain e.g. bruises, cuts, slight fatigue etc.
•YELLOW – When a yellow aura is shown around the target it signifies that they are feeling a moderate amount of pain e.g. open wound, internal damage, medium fatigue etc.
•RED – When a red aura is shown around the target it signifies that they are feeling a large amount of pain e.g. fatal wound, massive internal damage, large amounts of fatigue/exhaustion etc.
•BLACK – When a black aura is shown around the target it signifies that that the target either has a foreign substance/object inside of them e.g. poison, traces of alcohol, kunai etc. Or an internal substance or object is exposed eternally e.g. blood, organs, bone etc.
•PURPLE – When a purple aura is shown around the target (which is always around their head/brain) it signifies that the target is feeling mental pain. The colour of the purple can range from light lavender for small amounts of mental pain to a dark purple for intense pain. This is usually associated with targets being captured in a genjutsu, but it can also show the user that the target is feeling intense mental strain or stress through another medium such as their emotions.
Members of the Takahashi Clan have combined the unique properties of their "Dracule Chakra" and their Pain Connection to form a deadly offensive physical style. Using their Dracule Chakra they are able to 'push' the pain out from a target. When the user touches a target they release their chakra throughout that body which allows the pain and fatigue from the body of another person to be 'pushed' out, it is then absorbed by the chakra. These sensations are then manifested into the chakra turning it to a red colour. Clan members have adapted this to release chakra through taijutsu attacks transferring the pain of the original person who suffered it to another through direct physical contact with the chakra. This transfer leaves the recipient in agonizing pain, and the benefactor feeling healthy and energized (chakra 'cleaned') once the pain leaves themselves.
